September 10, 2019

  • An officer received a complaint of an animal needing help in the 800 block of N. First Street. A citizen was helping the animal upon the officer’s arrival.
  • An officer assisted a citizen with a lost item in the 500 block of W. Walnut Street.
  • A Boone County Deputy responded to a fire alarm at the Ogden High School. It was a false alarm.

September 11, 2019

  • An officer received a report of an adult male inside of the paper recycling bin in 100 block of N.W. Fifth Street. The male got inside the container to be out of the rain. An officer gave the male a ride to Boone.
  • An officer received a report of possible child abuse.

September 12, 2019

  • A Boone County Deputy responded to a report of a person driving a vehicle around property in the 400 block of W. Sycamore Street and yelling obscenities. A Boone County Deputy warned the driver for disorderly conduct and warned the complainant for trespassing.
  • The Ogden Street Superintendent reported the restrooms at the Ogden City Park were vandalized again. Someone is stuffing the toilets full of toilet paper. This has happened several times.
  • A female reported she was having trouble picking up her belongings from an Ogden residence. The female was gone upon an officer’s arrival. The officer called her back, and she advised she wanted to pick up her belongings. The officer spoke with the owner of residence and set up a time for the female to retrieve her items. The officer advised the female of the date and time.
  • An Ogden resident called to report that he believes his identity was stolen.
  • An officer assisted a stranded motorist.
  • An Ogden resident reported a blonde Labrador with a red collar was running loose. An officer took the dog to the Ogden City Kennel.

September 13, 2019

  • An officer received a complaint of a dog attacking a cat. The cat was inside a fenced-in backyard with three dogs. A neighbor held the dogs back while an officer retrieved the cat and took it to the Boone Area Humane Society.
  • An officer returned the dog that was caught last night to its owner. The officer advised the owner to notify the communications center if the dog gets loose again.
  • An officer assisted someone locked out of vehicle.
  • An officer received a report of a vehicle that crossed the center line several times. The vehicle was northbound on H Avenue from 270th Street. An officer located the vehicle and stopped the vehicle in the 500 block of 220th Street westbound. The driver was elderly and was sleepy. The officer parked his patrol car and drove the person to his residence in Grand Junction. A Boone County Deputy picked the officer up and brought him back to his patrol car.
  • An officer received a complaint of a black poodle running at large in the 300 block of E. Division Street. The officer was unable to locate the dog.
  • An officer was asked to do a welfare check on children at an Ogden residence. The children were fine.
  • An officer assisted a Boone County Conservation officer with a traffic stop.

September 14, 2019

  • An officer returned a call to someone regarding child visitation.
  • A Boone County Deputy removed bat from Ogden residence.

September 15, 2019

  • Normagene Wilson of 314 S.W. Fourth St. reported that in the last week someone has taken 18 bundles of new shingles and a pallet from her driveway.
  • An officer assisted someone locked out of vehicle.
  • An officer responded to an incomplete 911 call from 519 S. First St. There was no emergency, and the resident denied using the phone.
  • An officer responded to a report of an accident on the westbound on ramp to 220th Street from H Avenue. There was no damage, but the driver did enter the ditch in order to avoid a collision.
  • A Boone County Deputy assisted someone locked out of vehicle.

*A criminal charge is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
