Tyler Ryan Givens-Dunn, 19, of Omaha was riding his skateboard near the 33 mile marker of U.S. Interstate 29 about 2 a.m. Saturday when a passing motorist struck and killed him.

An Omaha teenager was killed early Saturday while skateboarding near the 33 mile marker of U.S. Interstate 29 near Pacific Junction.

Tyler Ryan Givens-Dunn, 19, of Omaha was riding a skateboard in the left lane of U.S. Interstate 29 shortly after 2 a.m. when a motorist traveling northbound on the interstate attempted to pass a semi-tractor trailer and struck and killed Givens-Dunn.

The Iowa State Patrol, Mills County Sheriff’s office and Pacific Junction Rescue responded to the scene.
