One ADM High School student was identified Monday as testing positive over the weekend for SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19, according to communications from ADM Superintendent Greg Dufoe.

Three close contacts of the student were identified and will quarantine for 14 days, Dufoe said, including two who were exposed onsite or at an ADM school function and one exposed off-site.

The ADM Community School District had about 1,900 students enrolled in 2019, with about 500 in the high school. The district’s Return to Learn Plan calls for 100% attendance and features many virus-mitigation tactics, such as context-appropriate face coverings for students in grades three through 12.
