One person was injured Monday afternoon when a passenger car collided with farm equipment on County Road P58 south of the Raccoon River.
The victim was transported with minor injuries to the Dallas County Hospital by the Dallas County EMS, according to public safety radio traffic.
The collision occurred about 2 p.m. in the 18000 block of J Avenue (County Road P58).
The impact tore the front passenger-side wheel from the car, which came to rest on the shoulder of the southbound land of J Avenue.
Damage to the tractor was not immediately apparent where it came to rest on the shoulder of the northbound land of J Avenue.
The Dallas County Sheriff’s office, Perry First Responders and Perry Volunteer Fire Department also responded.
