A one-vehicle rollover accident on Iowa Highway 141 about 11:45 p.m. Sunday sent a Clive man to Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines with injuries.

An Iowa Department of Transportation snow plow operator came upon the scene just east of M Avenue, where the westbound Jeep Wrangler driven by Gregory Press of Clive came to rest in the eastbound lanes of Iowa Highway 141 after crossing the median and rolling.

The DOT worker used his snow plow to shield the damaged vehicle from oncoming eastbound traffic until emergency responders arrived.

Officers of the Perry Police Department secured the accident scene until the arrival of the Dallas County Sheriff’s office.

The incident is under investigation at this hour.

Damage to Press’vehicle was estimated at $2,500.

The Perry First Responders, Perry Volunteer Fire Department and Dallas County EMS also responded.
