One person was transported to Dallas County Hospital Monday about 4:30 p.m. after the vehicle he was driving collided with another vehicle at First Avenue and Park Street in Perry.
The incident involved a passenger minivan and an SUV, which both came to rest in the roadway on Iowa Highway 144. The van appeared to sustain serious damage to the passenger side, and the SUV had extensive front-end damage.
The incident is under investigation at this hour.
ThePerry Police Department, Perry First Responders, Perry Volunteer Fire Department and Dallas County EMS responded to the accident.
