A one-vehicle rollover on Iowa Highway 141 south of Woodward Thursday afternoon caused minor injuries to an occupant, who was treated at the scene by Dallas County EMS but who refused transport to the hospital.
The Ford pickup, driven by Angelica Ruth Downs of 210 W. Second St. in Woodward, was apparently traveling in the eastbound lanes of the state highway and approaching 160th Street when it left the roadway and entered the ditch, coming to rest on the driver’s side about 2:45 p.m.
The Dallas County Sheriff’s office responded and issued a citation to Downs for failure to maintain control of the vehicle.
Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $7,000.
The Woodward First Responders also responded.
