Evening traffic was slowed when a vehicle left the roadway of Iowa Highway 169 south of 130th Street about 5:30 p.m. Thursday.
Law enforcement radio traffic indicated a medical emergency might have caused the mishap.
The car came to rest in the east ditch of the U.S. highway.
The Dallas County Sheriff’s office, Woodward Police Department, Bouton Volunteer Fire Department and Dallas County EMS responded to the incident.
