DES MOINES, Iowa — Third District Congressperson Rep. Cindy Axne reminded Iowans Monday to take advantage of the three-month special open enrollment period of Obamacare’s health care marketplace that began Feb. 15.

“Thousands of Iowans have lost their jobs and their employer-provided health insurance throughout the COVID-19 pandemic,” Axne said. “This special enrollment period of the Affordable Care Act’s health care marketplace gives Iowans who need health care coverage the chance to find affordable options to get them through the remainder of 2021 and this once-in-a-lifetime health crisis.”
