Orange horse, orange rider, and other signs of end times

Apocalypse timelines are popular guides to reflection.

Four horses — one white, one black, one red and one orange with small hooves — ranged freely over Perry Sunday morning, possible harbingers of the Biblical apocalypse longed for by American evangelical leaders Mike Pence, Mike Pompeo, William Barr and Donald Trump.

In the Bible, the four mounted evangels are believed by some believers to represent Islamophobia, xenophobia, nativist racism and strong-leaderism, with its nasty style, respectively.

Christian preachers of millennial end times, such as John Hagee and Mark Biltz, have made detailed charts of the prophesied apocalypse, suitable for framing.

The four horses were reported running at large shortly after 10 a.m. An officer with the Perry Police Department responded and assisted the owners in recapturing the liberty-loving equines.

The author of Revelation foretold, “For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?” (Rev. 6:17).

  1. “. . . American evangelical leaders Mike Pence, Mike Pompeo, William Barr and Donald Trump.”

If this is true, both evangelicals and Americans are in trouble but for different reasons.
