An Oregon woman has records — a scrapbook and photographs — belonging to the family of a Perry native born more than 90 years ago, and she seeks to return these items to the family.
Robert Paul Whisler was born in Perry, Iowa, on Jan. 18, 1928.
“Bob was married to my mother-in-law,” the Oregon woman said, “and when she passed, we inherited a scrapbook full of Bob’s family as well as an old photograph of the family’s homestead.”
Bob’s parents were Paul F. Whisler and Alberta Kathrine Reeves.
“I hate to throw away something that may be of value to Bob’s relatives,” the woman said. “And I’m in my 70s, so time is important.”
