Orscheln Farm and Home is aiming at April 1 to open its new Perry location at 401 First Ave.
Employees are busily stocking shelves and preparing for the big change, according to Orscheln’s Perry Manager Bill Sanguinetti. The April 1 date is still conditional, he said, on “a lot of little things that have to be done,” including inspections and other details.
“It’s official,” Sanguinetti said. “We’re working feverishly on the building to stock it completely full. We’re stocking it right now, and we’re going to try to have it fully stocked by our tentative opening date.”
Once the dust settles in the new store and loose ends are tied up in the old store, the Perry Orscheln’s will host a grand opening May 13-15.
“We’re looking for a major turnout there,” Sanguinetti said. “We’re going to have all kinds of activities for the community and invite them in to see the brand new store.”
Details will be forthcoming as the event draws closer for Perry’s new Orscheln Farm and Home.
