WOODWARD — Woodward-Granger sophomore Natalie Weaver and freshman Emma Anderson were each chosen for the Honorable Mention lists on the recently released WCAC All-Conference softball teams.

Statistics used for All-WCAC recognition come from conference games only.

Weaver hit .280 and scored 16 runs for the Hawks. She had 14 hits, including six doubles, and finished with 12 RBIs. Along the way she was successful on all 10 of her stolen base attempts.

Anderson posted a .328 average in league play, recording 19 hits, of which four were doubles. She also had a triple and a home run while driving in six runs from her lead-off spot in the lineup. Anderson scored 18 runs and was third in the WCAC with 13 stolen bases (on 14 attempts).

W-G finished the season 7-31 overall and 2-18 in the WCAC. They were 4-30, 2-14 in 2018. Jessica Wyant is the Hawk head coach. She took over when Owen Hunter resigned June 2 with the team at 1-9, 0-4.
