Pandemonium prevailed at the Dallas County Hospital’s annual Safe and Healthy Halloween Trick or Treat event Monday night, with many well known characters from children’s entertainment lining the halls of the hospital, from old bats to babes in arms and even a jurassic character.

Dallas County Hospital Foundation Board member Chad Hoffbeck greeted the ghostly gaggle with a mild smile and sweet treats, and DCH CEO Angela Mortoza said she was “afraid to guess how many little goblin have passed through these halls in just the first hour.”

Last stop for the little beggars was the ladder truck of the Perry Volunteer Fire Department, where ghouls and gremlins took pictures in the cab and received treats from firefighters Rodney Cromwell and Doug Harlan.
