Woodward-Granger's offense has found the end zone just two times in three games. It will have to be far more productive to handle a high-scoring Panorama squad Friday.

LAST YEAR — Panorama rolled up 460 yards of offense in a 42-12 win in Panora. The Panthers threw for 273 yards and four scores and rushed for 187 more and 2 TDs while Woodward-Granger ahd 228 yards on the ground and 136 in the air.
Gabe Richey caught five passes for 122 yards and a score and Panorama came away with three fumble recoveries. Both teams had an interception, with Hawk tailback Tanner Vermaas rushing 18 times for 76 yards.

ABOUT THE PANTHERS — Panorama opened with a 48-21 win over Ogden and a 42-22 win at Manson-NW Webster before blanking Southwest Valley, 35-0, in their District 8 opener last week.
Aaron Klinge is 27-50-2 for 343 yards and two scores through the air and has added 110 yards and a TD on 24 rushes.
Levi Leiferman (10-110) is the main target, with Reid Cobb (5-117, 1 TD), Richey (5-57) and Cameron Allen (4-50, 1 TD) also seeing receptions.
Richey has returned a punt 85 yards for a score and has 186 yards and eight TDs on 24 carries so far. Trent Sloss (37-156, 3 TDs) and Allen (9-83, 2 TDs) have also seen duty carrying the ball.
Allen leads the defense with 22.5 tackles, with Sloss having made 17 stops this season.

ABOUT THE HAWKS — The W-G offense has found the end zone only twice this season. The Hawks stopped M-SM, 8-0, in the season opener, but dropped a 42-6 decision at Madrid the following week before suffering an 8-2 loss at Interstate-35 in D8 play last Friday.
In keeping with their traditional approach, the Hawks have rarely tried the aerial route. Quarterback Brendan Bird is just 8-of-20 for only 62 yards this season, with Race Brant (4-17) the only teammate with whom he has connected more than once.
Vermaas has both scores for W-G this season, each of which have come on two-yard dives. He has produced a workman-like 234 yards on 72 carries, with Brant has 66 yards on 17 rushes while fullback Josh Saack has toted the ball 11 times for 40 yards.
Austin Scharlau leads the defense with 17.5 tackles, with Saak adding 14 denials, Johnnie Morgan 13.5 and Vermaas and Nick Musich 12.5 apiece.
