Panorama falls to visiting Pleasantville

PANORA — Pleasantville proved to be an unfriendly guest Tuesday as the Trojans claimed a 3-0 win over Panorama in WCAC volleyball action.

Panorama fell to 5-4 overall and 2-2 in league play with the loss while Pleasantville improved to 5-4 and 3-2. The Trojans won on scores of 25-23, 25-18, and 26-24.

Jaidyn Sellers had six kills for the hosts, with Tyme Boettcher, Grace Webner, and Angel Poldberg adding two kills apiece. Mollie Monthei distributed nine assists, with Tyme Boettcher, Poldberg and Jasmarie Flanery having one apiece.

Flanery’s 15 digs led the Panther defense, while Boettcher and Webner each had 10. Jaidyn and Jazmyn Sellers had seven digs apiece, with Monthei adding four and Poldberg two.

Boettcher served 12-of-13 with two aces and Jaidyn Sellers 10-of-10 with one ace. Webner was 8-of-12 behind the line, Jazmyn Sellers 7-of-8, and Monthei 6-of-6.

Panorama resumes action Tuesday when they join South Central Calhoun for a triangular at Greene County.
