OGDEN — The Panorama wrestlers swept their competition at a quadrangular meet Thursday to continue their impressive start to the season.

Panorama was a 60-27 winner over host Ogden and a 61-18 victor against AC/GC. Their dual with Southeast Valley came down to the last match, where 195-pounder Dalton Holmes scored a pin to send the Panthers to a 39-34 victory.

Holmes was 1-1 Thursday, with Wyatt Clark (120 pounds), Emry Colby (152) and Brady Howard (220) also recording single victories.

Six Panthers posted wins in each of their three matches, with Logan Christe (106) winning twice by fall and once via forfeit while Danny Nordquist (126) recorded one pin and two decisions.

Wyatt Appleseth (132) won by pin, major decision and forfeit, with Noah Kirtley (145) scoring two pins and receiving a forfeit. Kaleb Stogill (160) tallied two pin fall wins and a forfeit and Gunnar Grunsted (182) two pins and a forfeit while Garret Fox (170) was 2-0 with a pair of pins.

Jacob Holwegner (138) also competed for the Panthers, but could not find his way to victory. Panorama, as they have all season, left the 113-pound division open.

Saturday’s WCAC tourney, hosted by AC/GC, is the next action for Panorama. The Panthers will wrestle at Saydel Dec. 22 in the final pre-holiday action on their schedule.
