Panorama matmen wrestle twice Thursday

PLEASANTVILLE — Panorama scored a 39-30 win over Lynnville-Sully while dropping a 54-30 outcome to Pleasantville in triangular wrestling action Thursday. Pleasantville was a 54-27 winner over L-S in the other dual.

Second-ranked Wyatt Appleseth remained undefeated after pinning both of his foes at 160 pounds. The Panther senior won in 1 minute, 43 seconds and in 1:38.

Logan Christe (126 pounds) returned to action and finished 2-0, winning with a pin in 1:46 and by forfeit, with Cooper Anderson tallying a pin in 44 ticks and receiving a forfeit at 220.

Cayden Van Meer was 1-1 at 138 with a pin in 3:58, with Ryan Fees 1-1 at 152 with a 10-6 decision while Landon Goodenberger was 1-1 with a 48-second pin at 170.

Also finishing 1-1, and winning by forfeit, were Maddox Nunn (113), Colby Waltz (182), and Jared Henderson (285), with Issac Monrroy-Nunez unable to find his way to a win in two matches at 195.

Panorama did not contest matches at 106, 120, 132 and 145 pounds.

The Panthers return to action Saturday at the AC/GC Invitational.
