STUART — The Panorama offense was on full display Thursday as the Panthers combined for 24 runs on 28 hits in a WCAC sweep of West Central Valley.
The Panthers (5-16, 3-13) were 14-8 winners as the guests in the opener, then received a five-inning no-hitter from Olivia Richey in the nightcap to top the Wildcats (4-21, 1-15), 10-0.
Richey was in complete command in game two, issuing three walks and striking out three in the final regular season game for the Panthers.
Kellie Prince had a single, a triple and a RBI, with Lydia Knapp adding a triple for Panorama. Hannah Woodworth drove in four runs with a pair of base hits, while Kennedy Andersen had a single and two RBIs.
Andersen was in full beast mode at the dish in the opener, finishing 5-for-5 with four doubles and a single. She scored twice and drove in one run.
Knapp was 3-for-5 with a double and a RBI while Nicole Rolfes added two double, drove in two runs and scored twice. Claire Woodworth had a single, a double and four RBIs, with Maddie Knapp driving in two runs on two hits while Shey Storesund stole three bases.
Richey earned the win in the ring. She tossed two innings, allowing four runs (two earned) on four hits and two walks while striking out two. Prince fanned five in five frames and was touched for four runs (one earned) on five hits.
Panorama travels to Woodward-Granger Monday for a Class 2A Region 7 First Round contest at 7 p.m. The winner advances to face host and third-ranked CMB Wednesday.
