PANORA — The Panorama wrestlers competed at home for the final time this season Thursday, with the hosts unfortunately unable to find a team win in their three duals.

Interstate-35 topped Panorama, 54-23, with SE Warren/Melcher-Dallas a 54-23 winner over the hosts while Van Meter/Earlham slipped past the home team, 42-38.

VM/E defeated SEW/M-D, 54-29, while squeaking past I-35, 42-40. I-35 bested SEW/M-D, 48-24, in the other dual.

Second-ranked 160-pounder Wyatt Appleseth was 3-0 with a pair of wins by technical fall and one by forfeit, with Landon Goodenberger 3-0 at 170 with two pins and a forfeit while Cooper Andersen was 3-0 at 220 with a pair of pins and a tech fall.

Ryan Fees finished 2-1 overall, recording a pin at 152 over VM/E while finishing 1-1 at 145 with a forfeit against SEW-M-D. Panorama left 152 open twice.

Issac Monrroy-Nunez was 1-2 at 195 with a pin, Cayden Van Meer was 1-2 at 138 with a 4-0 decision, and Maddox Nunn was 1-2 at 113 with a forfeit. Heavyweight Jared Henderson was 1-2 with a win by forfeit, with Colby Waltz unable to win in his three matches at 182.

The hosts left the 106, 120, 126, and 132-pound brackets uncontested.
