Panther netters stripe Tigers in WCAC meeting

The short-roster Panorama cross county units competed in Madrid Thursday.

PANORA — A clean sweep of visiting Madrid Tuesday lifted the Panorama volleyball team to 5-3 overall and 3-1 in WCAC play. The loss dropped the Tigers to 2-6 and 0-2.

Panorama was in control throughout. The Panthers won the first game, 25-17, before a 25-19 win in game two. A 25-18 victory in game three completed the sweep.

Jaidyn Sellers and Angel Poldberg each had six kills for the hosts, with Grace Webner adding three kills and Jasmarie Flanery one. Tyme Boettcher provided 10 assists and Sellers one.

Jazmyn Sellers provided nine digs for the defense, with Boettcher notching eight, Webner and Jasmarie Flanery seven apiece and Mollie Monthei four.

Flanery had four aces on 16-of-17 serving, with Monthei 16-17-1 and Jazmyn Sellers 15-17-1. Webner was 10-12-2 behind the line, with Boettcher finishing 7-of-8 and Jaidyn Sellers 4-of-4.
