Monday night brought the last regular season game for the Panthers, and they had the opportunity to play at Wells Fargo Arena as part of the Iowa Wolves High School Hoops.

The Panthers came out on top over the Ogden Bulldogs 49-16. Tyme Boettcher led Panther scoring with 14 points, with Jaidyn Sellers adding 12, Zoey Hambleton 8, Mia Waddle and Morgan Crees 4 points each and Arilyan Steenblock with 3.

“Our regular season came to an end so we now set our sights on regional play where it is just one game at a time,” Coach Boettcher said.

It was a good night for the Panthers defense.

Not only did the varsity players get the magical experience of playing in Wells Fargo Arena, but so did the JV girls and JV boys. The JV girls won 27-23 over the Ogden Bulldogs, with Lindy Nelson leading with 10 points and Kelsey Laabs adding 8.

Next up for the Panthers will be Tuesday night versus the winner of the WCV-Woodward-Granger contest.

The Panther boys also shared the Wells Fargo experience, narrowly losing to the Ogden Bulldogs 60-54. Maddox Hammerstrom scored 18 points, with Braedon Draper adding 14, Braylon Dawes 9, A. J. Draper 6, Klayton Bremer 4, Ryan Cogil 2 and Ethan Olsen 1.

The Ogden Bulldogs pep band was the musical entertainment for the night, and the Panorama Choir sang the National Anthem. At halftimes of both varsity games, the Panorama Dance Team performed with two state routines.

This night was one that will never be forgotten by the Panther and Bulldog students.
