Panthers learn 2020 football schedule

PANORA — The slate is set for the (hopefully) upcoming prep football season, and Panorama now knows who and where they will play.

The Panthers will be in Class 1A District 8 for one year, as the IHSAA has limited the new assignments to 2020 only. Others in the district include AC/GC, Kuemper Catholic, Van Meter, West Central Valley, and Woodward-Granger.

Panorama opens play August 28 by hosting Des Moines Christian before visiting Clarinda Sept. 4. They will host Interstate-35 Sept. 11 and travel to Mt. Ayr Sept. 18 to conclude non-district play.

D8 action begins Sept. 25 with a home game against Van Meter, followed by an Oct. 2 trip to Woodward-Granger. The regular season wraps with an Oct. 9 visit to WCV and home games against AC/GC (Oct. 16) and Kuemper Catholic (Oct. 23).
