Patrick Douglas Farmer was born Sept. 14, 1972, to Gary Mack and Stephanie Ann Farmer in Leavenworth, Kan. He was their first and only child and was welcomed with great joy.

Patrick attended Sacred Heart School until fourth grade and Assumption School in Granger until he entered high school in Woodward, graduating in 1991.

He married Sandra Hester in 1991, and to this union two children were born, Carter Lee and Logan Nicole. The couple later divorced.

Patrick worked for more than 10 years at Shattuck Turf Farm and later became a certified welder, a profession he loved.

In 2003 he married Jessica Rohlf, and to this union two children were born, Hayden Mitchel and Lillian Joelle.

Patrick loved his children and was especially proud of their accomplishments.

enjoyed sitting by the campfire having conversations with his mother or watching the latest movie releases while visiting.

He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers and Iowa Hawkeye fan.

He was devoted and loyal to his friends, especially friends Tony and Adam Seeman, whom he had known since childhood.

Patrick was a fun-loving person with a dry sense of humor. He believed that Jesus is his savior, and at times said the Lord’s Prayer with his mother.

Left to mourn his passing are his children, Carter, Logan, Hayden and Lilly; his mother, Stephanie Simmons; and dear friends, Tony Seeman, Adam Seeman and Jared Schulte.

We know Patrick is at last free of pain and is resting in peace in the presence of Jesus Christ.
