The Perry Lions Club held their annual Peace Poster contest for sixth grade students at the Perry Middle School this fall. The theme for this year’s contest was Peace Without Limits.

Lions Club member Roger Niemeyer was the chairman of the project, and the members of the club voted for the top three contest winners. The contest winners will receive a monetary award from the Perry Lions Club.

The first place winner was Chloe Dobek. Second place went to Aslin Ross, and the third place winner was Mija Waterhouse.

The club members thanked the middle school art teacher, Jessica Brocka, and her 70 sixth grade students who participated in the contest.

The first place winner of the Perry Contest will have her poster advanced to the Lions Club Southwest District contest. The winner of the district contest will in turn advance to the state level for judging.

Ray Harden is the secretary of the Perry Lions Club.
