Perry Economic Development Inc. (PEDI) is pleased to announce the nearing completion of the new 30,000-square-foot speculative industrial warehouse located in the Perry Industrial Park.
PEDI began construction on this new spec building in April 2018, and the anticipated completion date is late summer of 2018. At current state, the spec building is the only new-construction, certified-site facility available in the state of Iowa but has not yet been committed to any organization for occupancy.
Located off Iowa Highway 141 at the eastern edge of Perry, the Perry Industrial Park is comprised of 151 acres. The park is a short 25-minute drive from U.S. Interstate 35 and U.S. Interstate 80 and only 40 minutes from downtown Des Moines, Iowa. Neighboring tenants include Percival Scientific, ITC Midwest and Hy-Line International.
On Friday, June 15, the PEDI Board invited neighboring tenants and partners to a private unveiling of this new project.
“We are excited about the opportunity to continue growth in our Perry Industrial Park, and we strongly believe that now is the time to bring this space to the market and deliver a needed product,” stated Deb Lucht, president of the PEDI Board of Directors. “Our team and partners have worked hard to create an open-shell space with all necessary utility connections ready for any business or industry to customize the interior to meet their needs.”
PEDI plans to host a larger unveiling later this year. For more information or questions about the certified site and spec building, please contact Perry Economic Development Inc. representative Terry Nielsen at 515-465-3521 or the Greater Dallas County Development Alliance at 515-987-2020.
