Beautiful spring weather Saturday drew a large crowd to the ninth annual Perry Public Library’s Kids Fest in downtown Perry.

Attractions for the youngsters include a bubble farm, foam cannon and dunk tank.

The Perry Rotary Club is hosting a putting green, and kids can try their hands at a variety of games on Railroad Street between the Perry Public Library and the Carnegie Library Museum.

The Perry Firefighters Associations has rolled out some of their heavy machinery and also served pork tenderloin sandwiches or hot dogs along with chips, granola bar and water for $1.

The Kids Fest was established in 2013 through the leadership of longtime friend of the Perry Public Library John Glass of Perry. The popular event was canceled in 2020 and 2021 because of the COVID-19 pandemic but returned last year for the eighth annual fest.
