Price, a longtime Iowa political operative and strategist as well as a vocal LGBT rights advocate, was elected chair of the state party in July 2017. The Durant native has been active in various campaigns and causes around Iowa since graduating from the University of Iowa in 2004, including work for Gov. Vilsack, Lt. Gov. Pederson, Gov. The Perry Area Democrats are strategizing in advance of the 2020 Iowa Caucus and election, a spokesperson said, and Price will join the discussion and share his thoughts on how the Iowa Democratic Party can help with Perry Area Democrat goals.
