Several Perry-area school districts have announced a two-hour postponement of Thursday classes due to a winter weather advisory in effect for central Iowa from 6 a.m. until 6 p.m. Thursday.
Starting classes at 10 a.m. Thursday are Adair-Casey Schools, Adel-De Soto-Minburn School, Coon Rapids-Bayard Schools, Earlham Schools, Glidden-Ralston Schools, Greene County Community Schools, Guthrie Center Schools, Ogden Schools, Panorama Schools, Paton-Churdan Schools, Van Meter Schools, the Waukee Head Start Center and West Central Valley Schools.
At this time, all other school districts, including the Perry Community School District and St. Patrick’s School, are scheduled to begin at the usual hour.
