Perry-area schools announce two-hour delays for Thursday

All schools in the Perry Community School District and St. Patrick’s have announced a two-hour delay in the start of Thursday classes due to a wind chill advisory in effect until 10 a.m. Thursday.

Other Perry-area school districts planning two-hour postponements of thursday classes include Adel-Desoto-Minburn (ADM) Schools, Coon Rapids-Bayard Schools, Dallas Center-Grimes Schools, Earlham Schools, Greene County Community Schools, Madrid Schools,  Ogden Schools, Panorama Schools, Paton-Churdan Schools, Van Meter Schools, Waukee Headstart Center and Waukee Schools, West Central Valley Schools, West Des Moines Schools, Woodward Academy Day School and Woodward-Granger Schools.

Morning activities and practices have been cancelled in all Perry-area school districts.
