CARLISLE — Weather spoiled any chance of playing a full 18-holes at Copper Creek Monday, shortening the Raccoon River Conference boys meet to just nine holes.

Boone edged ADM and Carroll for top honors as the three lowest team scores were 155, 156 and 157. Ballard was just off the pace at 159, with Bondurant-Farrar (168), Winterset (170), Perry (177) and host Carlisle (184) completing the field.

“I’m not sure if it was the weather or just not being ready to play, but we did not fare well today,” Perry head coach Nick Field said. “I think it would have been better if we could have played 18 holes instead of nine. We will take this and get focused on Friday.”

Perry will travel to Atlantic Friday for their Class 3A sectional meet. Teams and individuals advancing will then compete at a district meet in Denison May 20.

Noah Wilkening, Kade VanKirk and Ryan Rathje each shot a nine-hole round of 44, with the Bluejays scoring either the 45 of Connor Nielsen or the 45 from Luke Rathje. Dane McCarty’s round of 51 was not tabulated.

Boone scorers included Dalton Huseman (36), Tanner Schminke (38), Ethan Lewis (40) and Taylor Wauhab (41), with Matthew West (38), Micah Moyer (39), Will Geadelman (39) and Jacob Schumacher (40) scoring for ADM while Carroll counted the cards of Drake Warner (38), Kyle Emery (39), Kolby Paulsen (40) and Jacob Norgaard (40).

Noah Hartman (37), Sage Fitchko (38), Kolby Jensen (42) and Jordan Moody (42) were the low four for Ballard, with Dylon Storey (36), Jayden Brady (40), Isaac Hanson (45) and Mason Storey (47) scoring for B-F while Winterset added the cards of Lane Kincade (41), Chase Van Werden (42), Ty Gilliland (43) and Casey Kemmerer (44).

Nick Klier (39), Garret Wilson (45), Owen Durham (49) and Nate Snyder (51) provided the totals for Carlisle.
