Two Perry children, along with their father, showed how much they care about the welfare of the U.S. Postal Service delivery workers Tuesday in a special visit to the Perry Post Office.
“Pretty awesome,” said longtime Perry Post Office worker David Roberts. “Dad brought his two young daughters in to tell us they care about the mailman and don’t want the mail tomorrow.”
The children got their wish when the USPS announced that mail delivery for Wednesday has been suspended due to the deadly cold and winds.
