The Perry Elementary School handed out gear for the fall term Monday afternoon in a drive-though grab-and-go event on the school’s west side.
Classes start Wednesday in the Perry Community School District.
Along with handing out laptops, the school staff assisted parents with arranging student lunch accounts and purchasing milk tickets.
The elementary school event lasts until 6:30 p.m.
On the east side of the elementary school, a second grade Beep and Greet gave youngsters a chance to greet their teachers and vice versa in advance of Wednesday’s start. They could also drop off school supplies and pick up important information.
The Beep and Greet lasts until 6 p.m.
