Perry Food Pantry granted $7,000 by 100+ People for Perry

The Perry Area Food Pantry at 3000 Willis Ave. now offers a surrogate-shopper service for the community's most vulnerable members.

The first-quarter meeting of the 100+ People for Perry charity group was held as a Zoom meeting Monday night, and the Perry Area Food Pantry’s building project was chosen to receive $7,000 in support from the group.

Members are requested to make checks payable to: Perry Area Food Pantry (Memo Line: “100+ – Building Fund). Checks may be submitted to Finneseth, Dalen and Powell PLC, P.O. Box 487, 1401 Willis Ave., Perry, IA 50220 (east side mailbox).

The mission of 100+ People for Perry is to invest in Perry’s future by supporting current charities, nonprofits and worthy projects that advance the quality of life. After 21 meetings, the group has pledged $147,600 to local non-profit projects.
