POLK CITY — The Tournament Club of Iowa (TCI) is one of the more challenging courses in the state, one Perry girls head coach Joel Happel describes as “the most difficult course we play on.”
While some of the scores shot by the Perry girls Thursday were a small bit higher, they also reflected the strong play the Jayettes have shown to start the season and were more than good enough to defeat the hosts, 210-269.
Alyssa Kruger stretched her streak of winning medalist honors to three consecutive matches as the senior carded a round of 45.
Sophomore Molly Lutmer, playing for the first time this season, earned runner-up medalist honors with a 48.
Delaney Eiteman had a round of 58 and Hannah Roberts a trip of 59 to account for the Perry scoring.
Individual scoring from North Polk was not made available.
Perry will play in the 18-hole Winterset Invitational Saturday before visiting Carroll Monday.
