Sales were brisk during the first day of a flea market in the parking lot of the Perry Health Care Center, 2625 Iowa Street.
A variety of items running the gamut from knick-knacks to sundry other pieces were available at bargain prices. Among the more popular attractions were small flowers ready to be transplanted and brighten their new home.
The sale ran Thursday from 12-7 p.m. and will continue again Friday from 9 a.m. until 7 p.m. Saturday’s sales will start at 9 a.m. as well, with no definitive closing time set.
All proceeds will be used for the purchase of patio cushions in the PHCC gazebo.
