Perry Little Leaguers play in Madrid tourney

MADRID — The Perry Blue and Perry Red Minor (age 9-10) baseball teams played in the six-team Madrid Tourney last weekend.

Perry Blue won the championship after defeating Granger, 6-4, in the title game. They had previously knocked off Madrid Black and Perry Red.

Perry Red defeated Madrid Orange, but dropped games to Perry Blue and Granger to finish 1-2.

The Perry Reds Minor League (9-10) team is shown from earlier this season.
