Monday night’s inaugural event in the Perry Lutheran Homes’ Live Music Concert Series has been postponed until Monday, May 26.

The four-concert lineup aims to bring community, family and seniors together at free, family-friendly events open to the public and held on the Eden Acres Campus at 1300 28th St. in Perry.

“Creating meaningful opportunities for our community, families and staff to engage with seniors is at the heart of this concert series,” said Tonya Swank, PLH director of independent and assisted. “Older adults in senior living communities have rich stories, wisdom, and joy to share-and events like these help bridge generations and bring people together in a truly special way.”

Concerts are scheduled for the following dates:

All the concerts will take place outdoors at the Eden Acres campus of the Perry Lutheran Homes. Attendees are encouraged to bring chairs or blankets for seating and comfort. Food will be available for purchase, and only non-alcoholic beverages will be permitted.

The Perry Lutheran Homes invites all community members, resident families, staff, neighbors and friends to attend. Whether you’re coming to enjoy the music, meet new people or simply support our vibrant older adult community, you’ll be part of something meaningful.

“Music is a universal language that connects us all,” said Melissa Gannon, chief operating officer of the Perry Lutheran Homes. “It’s our joy to create spaces where seniors feel celebrated and where community, families, staff, and friends can gather in fellowship.”
