A Perry man was arrested on a Dallas County warrant Tuesday in connection with a Monday incident in which he allegedly assaulted a women during the course of a domestic dispute.
Trayon Louis Allen Nash, 31, of 717 Fifth St., Perry, was charged with first-offense domestic abuse assault-bodily injury or mental illness.
The incident occurred about 7:15 a.m. Monday in the 700 block of Fifth Street in Perry, where Nash allegedly “grabbed the right thigh area of” the victim, “causing scratches and bruising in the area,” according to court records.
A warrant for Nash’s arrest was ordered July 20 in Dallas County District Court and served July 20.
Nash was held in the Dallas County Jail prior to his release on his own recognizance. He is scheduled for a hearing in Dallas County District Court.
