A Perry man was arrested Sunday morning after allegedly assaulting the mother of his child.
Iskiel Eskiel Hallucky, 35, of 3307 McKinley St., Perry, was charged with first-offense domestic abuse assault-bodily injury or mental illness.
The incident began about 11:15 a.m. Sunday in the 3300 block of McKinley Street, where officers of the Perry Police Department responded to a report of a domestic disturbance.
The officers made contact with the victim, who said that during the course of a verbal dispute, Hallucky allegedly “grabbed the victim and dragged her out of bed and landed on the floor,” according to court records.
The victim told the officers that “she had hit” Hallucky “in self-defense,” according to court records.
Hallucky “denied anything physical despite both suffering from injuries,” according to court records.
Hallucky is held in the Dallas County Jail on a $1,000 cash or surety bond. He is scheduled for a preliminary hearing Jan. 5 in Dallas County District Court.
