Perry man arrested on multiple drug charges Friday night

David Hung Le, 25, of Perry was arrested about 10 p.m. Friday on charges of possession with intent to deliver, failure to affix a drug tax stamp, unlawful possession of prescription drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia.

A Perry man detained about 10 p.m. Friday after briefly resisting local law enforcement’s execution of a search warrant.

David Hung Le, 25, of Perry was arrested by officers of the Perry Police Department at a house at 2514 First Ave. in Perry.

Le was charged with two counts of possession with intent to deliver and one count each of failure to affix a drug tax stamp, unlawful possession of prescription drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Le was also arrested on a Dallas County warrant. He is being held in the Dallas County Jail pending an initial appearance Saturday.

The Dallas County Sheriff’s office assisted in the arrest of Le.

Le was previously convicted in Dallas County District Court in 2016 for possession of a controlled substance.
