A Perry man was arrested Sunday on three active Dallas County warrants.
Chad Michael Menz, 40, of 1420 Evelyn St., Perry, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of first-offense domestic abuse assault, a warrant for probation violation on an original charge of second-offense possession of a controlled substance and a warrant for probation violation on an original charge of stalking.
Menz in held in the Dallas County Jail on a $30,000 cash-only bond. He is scheduled for an appearance Monday in Dallas County District Court.
Menz was convicted of a controlled substance violation in 2013 in Dallas County District Court. He was convicted of second-offense possession of a controlled substance in 2020 in Dallas County District Court. He was convicted of violation of a no-contact order in 2020 in Polk County District Court. He was arrested May 23 in Perry on a charge of first-offense domestic abuse assault. The case is pending in Dallas County District Court. He was arrested July 2 in Woodburn, Iowa, on a charge of violation of a no-contact order. The case is pending in Clarke County District Court.
