A Perry man was arrested Friday on a Dallas County warrant for drug charges.
Scott Ryan Hall, 45, of 1920 Evelyn St., Perry, was arrested on a Dallas County warrant for a controlled substance violation, failure to affix a drug tax stamp and possession of drug paraphernalia.
The charges stem from an Aug. 15 incident in rural Perry, where Hall was allegedly found with 10.7 grams of methamphetamine and various items of paraphernalia.
Hall is held in the Dallas County Jail on a $5,000 cash or surety bond. He is scheduled for arraignment Nov. 13 in Dallas County District Court.
Hall was convicted of possession of a controlled substance in 1995 in Dallas County District Court. He was convicted of possession of a controlled substance in 1996 in Polk County District Court. He was convicted of second-offense possession of a controlled substance in 2000 in Dallas County District Court. He was convicted of a controlled substance violation and had charges dismissed of possession of pseudoephedrine, ethyl ether, lithium, perchloric acid and ephedrine in 2001 in Dallas County District Court. He was convicted of a controlled substance violation in 2005 in Polk County District Court. He was convicted of third or subsequent offense possession of a controlled substance in 2014 in Story County District Court. He was convicted of third or subsequent offense possession of a controlled substance in 2014 in Dallas County District Court, and he was convicted of third or subsequent offense possession of a controlled substance in 2016 in Boone County District Court.
