Perry Community School District Superintendent Clark Wicks has announced that one student at the Perry Middle School and one student at the Perry High School tested positive for COVID-19 this week.
All students and families in contact with the students have been notified, Wicks said, and five close contacts of the students were placed in quarantine.
All other students can attend classes as normal, he said.
The SARS-CoV-2 virus has infected 44 students and 19 staff members since classes began Aug. 19 in the PCSD, according to communications from the PCSD. The list of cases follows.
