The Ogden netters made the short trip south Tuesday as guests of the Perry team for a final scrimmage before their respective seasons begin this week.
Perry head coach Kristel Schultz said she was pleased with how the Jayettes served and played defensively, but said the passing needed to improve. Schultz also said she liked the “scrappiness” her team showed.
Perry visits Fort Dodge St. Edmond Thursday in their season-opener before joining 15 other schools in the three-venue Bondurant-Farrar Invitational Saturday. Additional details on Saturday’s even will appear later this week on ThePerryNews.com.
