BONDURANT — Perry’s annual visit to the 16-team Skip Anderson Tournament at Bondurant-Farrar Saturday saw the Jayettes struggle all day, with the team finishing winless in six matches.

Perry opened their final bracket with Raccoon River Conference foe Boone, who prevailed, 21-18 and 21-6. A 21-10, 21-9 loss to Des Moines Roosevelt followed, but Perry managed to win their first set of the year with a 21-10 win against PCM. Unfortunately for the Jayettes, the Mustangs were able to rally for a 21-16 win to force a third set, which PCM claimed with a 15-9 final score.
