The Perry chapter of the Optimist Club International inducted four new members at the club’s October meeting.
President Zack Cregeen welcomed Bret Andorf, Kevin Haugen, Jen Sprung and Rich Wede to the ranks of the Perry Optimists. The inductees were presented with an Optimist pen, decal, pin and additional club accoutrements.
The club also marked the loss of longtime Optimist Lawrence Bice, who passed away Sept. 30 after many years of service to Perry’s civic culture. The Optimists voted to send a memorial to the Bice family.
