Perry parks, public spaces treated with weed killer

A white flag marks an area of Pattee Park where the Perry Parks Department has recently sprayed herbicide. The fall spraying lasts about two weeks, according to city officials.

The Perry Parks Department is in the midst of its two-week fall spraying campaign of weeds in all public areas, the city has announced.

Spraying began about Sept. 15 and is expected to be completed about Sept. 30.

Public areas that have been treated with the herbicide are being marked with white flags.
