The Perry Police Department released the following statement Wednesday morning:
“On Feb. 22 at about 2:36 a.m. the Perry Police Department was called to the area of Sixth and Pattee streets in regards to a report of possible gunshots. Officers responded to the area and spoke with the caller. They reported there were no injuries sustained by the residents in the area and no damage to any property was found.
“The caller described a possible suspect vehicle to officers. The officers located a vehicle matching the description at a residence here in Perry. Officers made contact with the occupants and were granted permission to search. Inside officers found a handgun that was consistent with evidence located at the scene of the original report. Officers also found a small amount of marijuana and other drug paraphernalia.
“Two suspects were detained and interviewed by officers. As a result of the investigation, two persons were arrested. They were:
Rafeal Partida Jr (DOB 09-09-1994) of Perry
Intimidation with a Dangerous Weapon -Class C Felony
Possession of Marijuana -Serious Misdemeanor
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia -Simple Misdemeanor
Supplying Alcohol to a Minor –Simple Misdemeanor
Ian Scott Stucker (DOB 02-06-1999)
Intimidation with a Dangerous Weapon -Class C Felony
Possession of Marijuana -Serious Misdemeanor
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia -Simple Misdemeanor
Possession of Alcohol by a Minor –Simple Misdemeanor
“Partida was transported to the Dallas County Jail. Stucker was taken into custody by juvenile authorities. Motives to the incident are still under investigation.”
