  • A caller said “three of her medications had been taken from her apartment.” An officer responded and determined the drugs “had just been misplaced. All okay.”
  • Ramiro Guzman, 18, 1724 W. Third St., Perry, was arrested on a Dallas County warrant for probation violation.
  • Justin Ray Lopez, 20, 308 N. Pinet St., Jefferson, was arrested on a Greene County warrant for revocation of pretrial conditions on an original charge of controlled-substance violation andĀ for revocation of pretrial conditions on an original charge of domestic abuse-multiple.
  • A caller said someone “is deaf and needed assistance.” An officer responded and learned the deaf person was vacating an apartment, and “the property managers advised him that he cannot leave his furniture at the property.” It was determined the deaf man “has no way to move the furniture as he only has a little car.” The property managers told him “that if he left his furniture, he would probably not get his deposit back.”
  • A caller reported nuisance burning. An officer responded and found “burning garbage,” but “no one came to the door or was around the fire.” The officer “put the fire out with the hose on the side of the house” and resolved to return “at a later date to issue a citation.”
  • A caller reported a sick raccoon. An officer responded and found it was the same raccoon previously reported that “is not sick but has the injured back right leg.” The lame animal “wandered off after drinking from a puddle.”
  • A caller said the same lame “raccoon outside of her residence.” An officer responded and found the “animal was attempting to find a safe, secluded spot in the bottom of the stairwell leader to the caller’s basement apartment.” The officer “helped move the animal along so the caller could get in and out of her apartment.”
  • A caller said her cat was lost.
  • A caller said a dog was running at large. An officer responded but did not find the dog.
  • A caller said someone “dumped a washing machine” “just west of the river bridge” “in the middle of the roadway.” The Dallas County Sheriff’s office was notified.

*A criminal charge is merely an accusation. and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
